QUEEN LATIFAH IS BACK WITH A SITCOM TITLED “SINGLE LADIES”

I am so excited about just having the opportunity to watch another TV show featuring talented black actress and after being a bug fan of “Living Single” for so long, I doubt Queen Latifah will let me down.

According to Vibe, Lauren London, LisaRaye and Stacey Dash will be staring in VH1’s first ever Scripted Series titled “Single Ladies”, executive produced by Queen Latifah.

The ladies began four-day rehearsals and filming in Atlanta this week for the show that revolves around the romantic relationships of three friends. Stacey Dash will play a celebrity stylist while LisaRaye’s character is a video vixen who doesn’t believe in having one man. Here is what Stacey Dash and LisaRaye had to say about their characters:

Stacey Dash :
“My character is very similar to my own life because I’ve never been single. Literally, since I’ve been 17 years old. She’s never been married, the character than I’m playing, whereas I’ve been married three times, so that’s the difference,” Dash says. “It’s a really good script.”

LisaRaye :“She doesn’t have one of anything nor does she believe in having one man. She believes in dating and being able to explore her possibilities. She’s much like Samantha of Sex in the City,” explains the Player’s Club star. “Very straight up and honest. She’s the one that has that spunk, I’d like to say that she’s the slut of the three.”

Lauren London will play a semi-shy character that is married to a NBA player however she will have more of a re-occurring role on the show.

(OLD NEW) SHOCKING NEWS – 16 YEAR OLD GEORGIA TWINS KILLS MOTHER OVER MONEY..

This is such a sad story, I could never imagine anyone taking my mother out of my life, so the thought of me hurting her. NEVER!!

6 year old twins Tasmiyah and Jasmiyah Whitehead are currently being held without bond at regional youth detention centers on charges of murdering their own mother.

Police say Jarmecca “Nikki” Whitehead’s body was found by her daughters as they arrived home from school on Wednesday (Jan. 13). The 34-year-old beautician had been brutally stabbed and beaten and left to bleed to death in her Conyers home.


At the time, police

announced they were seeking “persons of interest” in the slaying. Police assumed right from the start that Whitehead knew her killer(s). After further analyzing forensic data taken from the crime scene, the twins were arrested on Friday (May 21) and charged with their mother’s death. One teen was arrested at a relative’s home in Clarkston, the other was arrested at Tucker High School.

They are being held without bond and kept apart to prevent them from comparing notes. One teen is at the Rockdale Youth Detention Center, while the other is at the Gwinnett YDC. Both girls will be charged as adults. Whitehead’s boyfriend of 10 years, Robert Head, said he wasn’t surprised the girls were charged. Head speculates the two bad seeds were coerced into slaying their mother by family members who were out for money.

The state recently removed the sisters from their mother’s home for assaulting Whitehead in the past. The girls, who were known as “Tas” and “Jas”, were sent to live with Whitehead’s grandmother for about a year. Michelle Temple, friend and former boss of Whitehead, said the twins stole money from their great grandmother. “The [great-grandmother] eventually had to get a dead-bolt for her bedroom,” Temple said.

“She’s an 80-year-old woman,” Whitehead’s friend Yucca Harris said of Whitehead’s grandmother. “[Tas and Jas] could get away with just about anything.”

The twins apparently continued their thieving ways by stealing $200 from Whitehead when they were returned to her custody 8 days before she died.

I see there is no mention of the father…these little bad ass children are seriously getting out of hand.
